We all know the importance of such a time as Bible study – silent prayer and reflection on God’s word create powerful moments, often ending in profound revelations.
However, just like any other event or gathering, it is important to close our Bible studies with an official sense of closure.
A closing prayer can help to do this and bring us back into communion with one another in a powerful signified way.
Here are some words of closing prayer that we can use to close our Bible study sessions:
Short Closing Prayer After Bible Study
1)
We thank you for your blessings, grace, and mercy. You have shown us a path to righteousness and our hearts are filled with joy because of you.
As we close out our Bible study, grant us the spirit of wisdom and revelation to better understand your word.
Remind us that each time we come together to seek knowledge from the Bible our faith is strengthened allowing us to share it with others.
Help us use this new found understanding to become closer to you, Amen.
2)
We thank You for the time we’ve spent together, studying Your Word. We come to You today humbly, with our hearts open and spirits blessed by the messages of Scripture.
