The family is the basic unit of society. The well-being of society depends on the well-being of the family.
The family is like a tree, the roots of which are the parents. The trunk and branches are the children. The leaves and flowers are the grandchildren.
If the roots are strong, the tree will be strong. If the roots are weak, the tree will be weak.
A strong family is one in which love, unity, faith, and prayer play an important role.
As we go about our day-to-day lives, it’s easy to take our families for granted.
We may not always see eye to eye with our loved ones, but at the end of the day, they are a source of comfort and strength. That’s why it’s so important to remember them in prayer.
When we lift up our families to God, we are asking for His protection and guidance. We are also acknowledging that we can’t do everything on our own – we need His help.
Prayer Point For the Well-Being Of Family
If you’re not sure how to start, here are a few things you can pray for your family:

Prayer For Unity In The Family
1)
Lord, we pray for Your peace in our homes. We know that peace does not mean everything is perfect; but, with You in our lives, we have all we need to get through anything.
Lord, there are times when tempers flare and words are spoken in anger.
Forgive us when we wrong each other and help us to control our tongues.
Teach us to love one another unconditionally as You love us. Help us to always show each other the same courtesy and respect we so willingly extend to others outside our family circle.
Remind us often that “a soft answer turneth away wrath” so that we would not let the sun go down on our wrath but rather a forgiveness.
We know that forgiveness is not always easy; but with Your help, all things are possible.
Thank You for loving us enough to die for us. It is in Your holy Name that we pray, Amen.
2)

We also pray for the families of others, so that they may find strength in their relationships.
Heavenly Father, we know that you love all of your children, and we ask that you bless us with your love. Amen.
