It can be heartbreaking when you watch your child making decisions that don’t always lead to a positive outcome. As a parent, we want nothing more than for our children to live happy and successful lives. When it feels like they’re going down the wrong path, it can give us feelings of helplessness and frustration. Oftentimes, my last resort is to pray for guidance – not only in terms of setting an example but also praying on behalf of my son’s actions.
It has helped me immensely in difficult moments as I work through the challenge of dealing with a disrespectful son.
