Prayer is a powerful force. It can be used to petition the Divine, or it can be used to heal one’s soul and body.
Prayer is a way of communicating with God while also acknowledging that we are not alone in this world. In times of difficulty, prayer reminds us that there is always hope for better days ahead.
The following are prayers for good health, protection, and healing. They are beautiful in their prose, simplicity, and power.

Our most gracious heavenly Father, I humbly pray that you allow Your healing Hand to heal me. Please aid me as I seek to overcome ills and maintain good health.
Let all the poisons of my body be ejected so that it might become clean once more. Heal me, Lord, by Your mighty power! Grant that no disease or affliction might grow within my body, but make me whole.
Help me to understand that true health comes from You. Send Your Holy Spirit to transform my heart and mind, endowing me with the gift of good health through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Dear Lord, please hear my prayer. Please keep me from all danger and harm as I go about my daily activities. Help me to stay away from all evil thoughts and deeds that could hurt or endanger me by giving in to temptations that might cause me to lose control of myself. Keep me well in body and mind, safe from accident and injury.

Protection Prayer

O most merciful and gracious Lord God, who watches over and protects those who love You with their whole heart, please bless me as I go to sleep tonight. Please shield me from all evil forces both seen and unseen, from all danger and from all deception. May my dreams be pleasant ones of happiness, restful slumber, and refreshing awakenings.
May my waking hours be filled with Your goodness and love. May the food I eat to sustain me in good health to make me stronger in You. May all of my efforts be blessed for Your glory.
Please continue to guide and protect those whom I hold dear – friends, loved ones, relatives, neighbors, and acquaintances. Protect their health, happiness, safety, well-being, prosperity, and all things good. Guide them to some measure of Your divine wisdom that they may always know what is best for themselves.
