O Lord our God, in these trying times we turn to you for help and guidance. As we face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that you give us the strength and wisdom to deal with this crisis.
We pray for those who are sick, that they may recover quickly and completely. We pray for those who are worried and anxious, that they may find peace in your love.
We pray for all who are working to contain the virus and provide care for the sick, so that they may be safe and protected. And we pray for our world, that this pandemic may soon come to an end. In all things, we trust in your goodness and mercy.
And as we begin our meeting today, we ask that you be with us, that your Spirit may guide us in all we do. May you help us to listen to each other, to speak truthfully and openly, and to work together for the common good. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Dear God, In the midst of this pandemic, we come to you with heavy hearts. We have seen so much death and destruction and we are struggling to make sense of it all. We pray for those who have lost loved ones, that they would find comfort in you.
We pray for those who are sick, that they would be healed. We pray for those who are struggling financially, that they would find provision.
And we pray for those who are feeling anxious or afraid, that they would find peace in you. God, we know that you are in control and that you have a plan. Help us to trust you and to follow you. We pray this in your name, Amen.
Dear God, We come to you in the midst of a pandemic that has wreaked havoc all around the world. We ask that you would give us strength and courage to face the challenges ahead. We also pray for those who have been affected by the virus, either physically or mentally. May they find healing and hope in you.
We pray for our leaders as they make decisions that will affect us all. Give them wisdom and guidance, so that they may lead us through these difficult times.
We are about to start our meeting, and so we ask that you would be with us. Help us to listen to each other, to speak truthfully and openly, and to work together for the common good. In your holy name we pray. Amen.
