I don’t know about you, but I find that starting my day with prayer makes all the difference.
It sets the tone for the rest of the day and helps me to stay focused on what’s important.
To me, prayer is speaking with God, but it’s also listening to what he has to say. Plus it gives you a chance to ask for help in the situations that might come your way. It’s just a good way to start the day.
In this blog post, I’m going to share with you a morning prayer that I use to start my day. I hope you find it helpful!
Warning: This morning prayer is kind of long, and it’s meant to be prayed over a period of time. I usually pray this prayer as I’m getting ready for work.

Dear God, I come to you this morning to thank you for another day.
Thank you so much for this beautiful world that you have created. Everything in the universe is yours and it gives me the joy to see your creation all around me. I am grateful for the air that I breathe, the birds that sing, the trees that grow, the flowers that bloom, and the good things in my life.
I’m so thankful for your love and support throughout my life. You always provide what I need to succeed when I call on you. Thank you so much for another day. Please help me to see all of your blessings in this new day!
Help me to remember what is truly important in life and give me the courage to do what is right.
Please help me to remember that your love is the only thing that matters because it will last forever.
Guide my thoughts and feelings today in all I do, say, and think. Please give me the strength to resist anything that would separate me from you or be harmful to my spirit. I want to always feel close to you, God.
