There are many great Bible verses to meditate on Good Friday. One of our favorites is from Isaiah 53:5-6, which says,
“But He was wounded[a] for our transgressions,
He was [b]bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes[c] we are healed.
6
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord [d]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
