As the holiday season approaches, families begin to prepare for their Christmas feast.
The turkey is roasted, the vegetables are peeled, and the pies are baked.
In the midst of all the preparations, it is easy to forget to take a moment to give thanks for the food on our table.
Before the feast begins, take a moment to say a prayer of thanksgiving.
Thank God for the bounty of the harvest and for His goodness in providing for our needs.
Ask Him to bless those who are less fortunate and to help us remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Then enjoy your feast with friends and family, knowing that you have been touched by the grace of God.
